Orientation

Our goal during new student orientation isn't to overwhelm you; it's to provide you with helpful information to assist in your success in IEOP. All new students receive an orientation binder, which is filled with material about IEOP, the Iowa State University campus and Ames community.

During orientation, and reinforced during each semester, we provide you with information on Academics, IEOP Policies, the ISU Campus and Ames Community, Health Benefits and Banking. We also host a new student luncheon where you can get to know the IEOP staff and other new students in a relaxed setting.

Orientation for our fall, spring and summer sessions take place over three days. Students who start IEOP at mid-term in the spring, will have a one-day orientation before starting class with additional information sessions, held after class, during their first week.
